Kalista grew up poor in bumfuck nowhere. Her parents were hippies and enjoyed experimentation with psychadellics. Her parents eventually began experiemnting on her by dosing her with various psyhotropics and recording her experiences. At some point during their extensive experimentations, Kalista became entagled in the magic web. Doing so enabled her to channel magic through at will although, due to the nature of how she obtained this power, the results were unpredictable.
She grew up to be a massive hippy flower smoking psychonaut that got money to get high.
She died after taking too much and running off a cliff.
