After concluding the events in The Well of Souls in with the beings perceived to be Akordia and the Cenokian Wraith (or the being they assumed was) the party finds themselves in an open area with 2 individuals sitting.
These 2 halflings, introducing themselves as Willeon and his son Ryan, before proceeding to ask some questions about the individuals that have just appeared before them. After a small conversation to alleviate the tension the father and son confirm the location of the party, just outside Rathir and only a few miles from Glendara, and agreed to assist the party by taking them to Glendara.
Arriving some time later in Glendara they come to find that some time has passed since the excursion into The Underdark to close The Well of Souls and prevent Akordia from completing their ritual. In their absence, Lady Milner was summoned to Shieldring Keep under an escort of The Warsworn to observe the activities. The Warsworn had been busy constructing some form of Statue outside of the keep as well as bolstering their ranks with new recruits. Aside from this she was also summoned to Rathir to inform them of the stationing of guards outside Glendara for safety. While in Rathir she was able to learn that Mel Shenshir was on the border of collapse and that Rathir had begun moving it's armies southward and amassing them near the borders.
Hearing this the party decides to travel to Rathir to see what's going on and to use the Teleportation circle to get back to Tala Rane. Upon entering the city they find it significantly less active, shops boarded up, larger homeless population and the queue which is normally a continual presence outside the Town all is all but dried up. Going to have a conversation with the Mayor they find a haggard man sitting behind a desk completing mountains of paperwork. The mayor confirms the party's suspicions, the election in Tala Rane has everyone in Rathir worried and the growing unrest in the east, specifically from Mel Shenshir due to the influence the commerce from the guild city has in Rathir.
*I know some of the information is incorrect, bear with while everyone adds the notes they have during this segment to fill in the gaps and correct my own addition.*
The ongoing story of how the party seeks to influence the election of the Prefect Maximus in Tala Rane and stop the resurgence of The Order Veracious.
