Khnith-Hgor (The Scarlet King) is assumed to be responsible for many of the events which have taken place in Tala Rane along with the transformation of both Ghurrix and Barren Lightbearer into the demonic forms that terrorised Tala Rane and the Fortalice of Old.
The inevitability of the destruction wrought by Khnith-Hgor was confirmed by Akordia after his failed quest to bring himself back to the world of the Fae, through the witnessing of the alternate timelines where the destruction has already been wrought.
