This is an approximate timeline of events that have occured during the history of the Material Plane.
Duration of an Age
The length of an age is 3000 years – this was agreed upon after the fact and has the support of Rathir, Mel Shenshir, Tala Rane, Derem and basically all the smaller elements of civilization. The duration was chosen to be easy to work with and have no bias towards any party.
The First Age
- 35 - Ka-al of Westwood (the Prophetam Primus) enlightened the world to the existence of Fate.
- 1293 - The city of Mel Shenshir is founded by immigrants from Klurikon.
- 1523 - The city that will one day be called Rathir is founded by the original five families.
- 1912 - The direct precursor to the Templar Order (the Arcane Divinity) is founded.
- 1912 - Alain Brightsword founds the Arcane Divinity – the precursor to the Templar Order.
- 2009 - Sar of the small marsh carries the word of the Pantheon of the Gods. Many prophets follow.
